I’ve only been to Roskilde Festival once before, back in 2003, so it was good to be back! I’ll show you some snaps from the days we were there..
The designers: Me, Mette Marko and Soffi Mbenga
I worked as a designer for H&M at Roskilde, and in return I got my ticket. I worked all Thursday on opening day, and me and two other designers made accessories and t-shirts for the Swap Shop. Festival guest could come and swap their old (and dirty) clothing/accessories to new ones. The overlying theme for the H&M Reboot area was sustainability, and I think it came across pretty well.
Friday we attended the “Taste of Lolland-Falster” lunch at Roskilde. The ever handsome Rødder was cooking, and as always the food was beautiful and tasty! We has three courses, beer and dessert wine for only 110 kroner! This is a must if you attend Roskilde next year – and there are lots of other social dining experiences as well.
Did you attend Roskilde festival this year??
Remembered I forgot to show you the pictures from the Coldplay concert back in August. As you can see – it was light-show-crazyness in the absolute best way ever! Even the audience were part of the light-show, as blinking wristbands were handed out in the entrance. Very cool gadget! It was my third Coldplay concert, and definitely not the last if you ask me. One of the few bands that NEVER bore me.
Coldplay, Herning 2009
Tonight I’m going to see Coldplay playing at Parken, Copenhagen. It’s my third time seeing them live (Roskilde Festival 2003, Herning 2009), and I’m very exited as it’s one of the few bands who’s music I can always listen to.
Tomorrow morning, me, Disko and bf are jumping the train to Jutland to spend the rest of our vacation with family and friends.. I could really get used to this vacation-thingy ;-)
A friend of ours posted this on facebook. We loooove Nyan Cat, ahahhaha!
Yes, I am the supportive girlfriend to tries to act interested in that game with the foot and the ball. Something with a final tonight towards..um.. Chelsea? I’m glad Liverpool has a great supporter song – at least I don’t mind hearing it that often then.
Aristocats – one of me and Disko’s favourite Disney movies – Of course!! Sing a long with the kittens like “every truly cultered musicstudent”, or just for fun :)
Do mi do mi do so mi do
Every truly cultured music student knows
You must learn your scales and your arpeggios
Bring the music ringing from your chest
And not your nose
While you sing your scales and your arpeggios
You probably all heard the song “Somebody that I used to know” by Gotye. I absolutely love L O V E the song, and I’ve been listening to it a few times a day lately. Today I came across this cover by Walk Off The Earth on youtube, and it’s actually really good. I like how they are five people playing one guitar at the same time.
Sveinur – participant in the Danish X-factor competition, also sang it a few weeks back. Pretty good job also. Love the high notes.
A friend of mine showed me the last video, which lead me to the others. Very creative cat, that Skifcha-fellow. I’m actually wondering if Disko needs glasses – sometimes you can put a snack right in front of him, and he doesn’t see it… Maybe he’s slow? ….Naahhh, lazy more likely!
Have a great Saturday everyone – I’m going dancing, what are your plans?
